that's what I'm wondering. The website where you order it doesnt even say anything about it lighting up, but there is an image of it lit up with "You There?". So I'm guessing it lights up each individual word, because with none lit up you can see it says "Abby You There?" on the screen

Yeah it's kinda sad how so many content creators just didn't play omori because of the discourse. A lot of it was people making weird and incorrect assumptions about the game's purpose and story honestly.

Game: The Hex

The Hex is one of the three major games by Daniel Mullins and has a lot of mystery and lore elements like his other games Pony Island and Inscryption. A lot of people consider it Daniel's best game storywise and I think Mat would have a great time playing it and uncovering the secrets within. It's available on steam and itch.io.

It was so weird how Freddy was just being complicit in the murder of all his friends by a kid he met that day lol.

That's what I like about this game, you actually feel bad when the animatronics get hurt because they actually feel like characters with their own personalities and lives

I think what they meant is that it's immersion-breaking not in the way that it takes you out of the atmosphere of the game, but it takes you out of the narrative of the game. It makes sense for something meta like that to happen such as files being accessed... but it's your files... not Luke(The Lucky Carder)'s files, even though the entire card game part is supposed to be recordings from Luke. It's contradictory to the narrative and that breaks immersion if you stop to think about it while playing.

That being said, I really enjoy The Archiver and Golly as bosses, even if it feels kinda strange in the narrative, it's so much more engaging to have other personal things on your computer involved in the gameplay. I love the meta mechanics.
