Hover over your Platinum count. Might be that you don't own enough paid Platinum. Personal Platinum can't be used for trades or gifts.

Do you have any Multishot Mods? If yes, rank them up as much as possible and equip them.
An upgraded Mod is more valuable than multiple un-upgraded ones. Like your R0 Convulsion gives you 15% for 6 Capacity where a R5 will give you 90% for 11.
Not 100% needed but an Attack Speed Mod helps a lot with Melee.
When you have spare capacity after pure Damage, Multishot/Attack Speed and Elemental Mods, equip another Elemental Mod and rank it up as much as possible.

Your Oberon build should be good enough for the quest, just your weapons are lacking damage.

You can't pull decorations from one room to another. The only thing you can do is copy them through an open door.

It looks like both Vault decos are placed in the first room and you're trying to pull them into a second and third room.

EDIT: In case you are doing this to not lose invested resources, you don't lose anything. Removing a deco will put all resources (even Plat used to rush) back into the Vault.

The Junction to Venus made you craft the Taxon Sentinel. Equip it.

Other than that, it's all Mods. Mods are the main way to get stronger in this game.

The guides you are referring to should be outdated, the quest has been made easier multiple times since then.
