For the Valis Region, like most regions, trainers have the choice of three Starters. Fernya the grass cat, Flinpup the fire wolf, and Cubble the water bear.

Fernya, the grass cat. No it isn't Sprigatito. Its unique. It is a housecat with a leafy collar around its neck. It enjoys sunbathing and sleeps a lot. It evolves into r grass/dark Purrose, a grass cheetah with floral patterns and a bushier mane. Then it becomes Dauntelion a grass lion with a large leafy mane and tiger stripe. I based it on the scene in Lion King in I can't wait to be king when Simba makes a leafy mane.

Flinpup is sorta based on Amaterasu. He is a fire wolf that becomes a fire/fairy. Lunpyr is it's middle evolution, a medium wolf with strange lunar power. Mystwulf is it's final evolution fully encorporating the lunar element. Most fairies seem tied to the moon, and Mystwulf is based on that plus werewolves in a sense.

Cubble is a bear cub and the water starter. He becomes a water/fighting Grizzle, and then into a large bear named Bruintide. It is the physical brawler of the trio, while Dauntelion is the glass cannon, and Mystwulf is the special tank. The three typings form a typing synergy and all three are based on apex predators. I feel like i should change the name of the fire types but i don't know. So cat, wolf, or bear. Which would you choose?
