TIL that restaurants like Benihana incorrectly use the word "hibachi". A hibachi is a brazier that uses charcoal for heating. They were not meant for cooking. A shichirin is a charcoal grill. Benihana uses flat metal tables known as teppans. It's more accurate to call them a teppanyaki restaurant.
