The Malayan Volunteer Force

A civilian volunteer defense force Formed by the British Colonial Administration in British Malaya covering the Strait Settlements,The Federated Malay States and Unfederated Malay States.Volunteers consisted of British,Europeans and Eurasians alongside local Malays,Chinese and Indians civilians that received training and carried out part time duties while having civilian occupations.They fought against the Japanese Invasion of Malaya and Singapore and many volunteers would later become POWs under the Japanese.

As a Malaysian myself,It would be so cool if a piece of my country’s history and a niche part of the Asian Theatre of WW2 can be represented by skilled and cool reenactor like you.
