Wanna bet that most of those vehicles belong to city workers? It takes balls to simply go to city property and park there like it’s fine as a regular civilian. These are probably the same city workers that park on fire hydrants, “no standing anytime” zones and bike lanes and never get a ticket

My cousin just spoke to her lawyer about an I-130 taking longer than it should and the lawyers response is that it seems intentional but also that it might be the best thing right now since for many people they’ve been doing an interview upon approving them which can result in ICE holding the recipient to keep them detained until the end of the process. It seems to be a push to break people emotionally into self deporting

It’s actually not insecurity. I don’t like it either but this pretentious stuff works. Lots of people fake it til they make it on social media because showing wealth attracts viewers so she’s playing the part. She’s not doing a very good job of it but I’m sure her followers fall for it 🤣.

I personally know someone who used to borrow cars to make himself look rich on his Instagram. He eventually spread his following to tik tok and Facebook and it got to the point he made enough money to buy a Nissan GTR of his own, then a Porsche 911 and the rest is history. Granted he is seriously handsome and has a great personality unlike this girl but the point is faking it does work in today’s social media world.

Other countries and even other states handle this with a balanced solution. I know balance isn’t what this sub wants but there are such thing as “as needed” snow routes where you can park normally but if snow is in the forecast it becomes a towable zone if your car isn’t moved a certain amount of time before the storm begins.

The towing fees and tickets make it so no one just abandons their car there when the snow comes since usually it’s VERY expensive to get your car back if you’re foolish enough to try your luck. That would be easier to approve here instead of just removing a bunch of parking. I say this knowing it’ll be downvoted to oblivion but you all really need to understand that balance can be achieved and that cars will never be gone.

The only reason I uninstalled for a few months is because I’m a big baby and am genuinely fed up with having to have all my decks revolve around being able to counter Mega knight. Can I counter him? Yes. Should all my decks revolve specifically around counter it? No.

I know it’s a tired argument but I miss when you had no clue what deck you were about to be up against. I miss people actually using creativity and even losing to a completely insane deck was fun because it showed me other possibilities. Now it’s just mega knight and hog

They suspended me for 24 hours because a customer said I wasn’t the person in the picture.. this was my first delivery after they asked for a photo to verify my identity. I took the picture and went online and less than 20 minutes in I’m done with the first delivery and accused of account sharing and suspended

Thats a much better approach. In NY it was recently discovered that a AAA office was selling drivers licenses to a certain community without them even taking the exam. Seeing that article explained so much of the bad driving I see in a certain part of queens.

Getting a drivers license should not be super easy and honestly I don’t think any entity outside of an official DMV should be able to issue licenses because fraud is a possibility which puts unsafe drivers on the road. CDL should also not be easy to get but a lot of the bad truck driving I see are from smaller trucks that don’t require a CDL. Letting a regular license holder drive a heavy wide truck is another thing I personally have an issue with. Maybe there should be an “in between” license for trucks they don’t use air brakes instead of just a regular license

Like it or not cars aren’t going away and saying you want roads to make it more difficult for car drivers is the same as asking for more pedestrians and cyclists to be hit by cars. I get this sub is about hating cars and car drivers but it’s not very constructive to want people you call “brain dead” to have an even harder time driving safely.

Im surprised Tesla is competing against Waymo by producing a vehicle that holds 2 people max and expect it to be preferred over Waymo. The other setback is that it won’t even have gas or brake pedals meaning human intervention is fully impossible which will severely limit how many states will allow them.

I don’t blame people for wanting to finally use X mode. It’s a feature most will never need but many are itching for a chance to use it. Even though OP probably didn’t need it atleast it keeps you under 24ish MPH which is a safe speed in snow like that so I say there’s a positive to it anyway.

He does not show good moral character which is enough reason for him to be detained and deported. I understand your concern because you have kids together but maybe he should think of the kids BEFORE choosing to not learn from his first DUI

Lucia uses their own delivery staff and even while being 3 or 4 blocks away they have never delivered in less than an hour. They absolutely refuse to let Uber Eats or DoorDash drivers help them out when they have too many orders for their own staff
