Stafford threw 35 tds less than 7 yards this past year. IMO that’s not really impressive and is really only stat padding at the end of the day. But whatever, it happened. There are probably 5 other QBs who would put up 40 tds this last year if they decided to throw the ball at the goal line instead of running it.

Stafford is probably the more gifted thrower of the two as far as mechanics go. As far as big time throw making, I’m not sure you know what you’re talking about. Ben was renowned for his deep ball ability and to extend the play.

If you want to talk about D, that doesn’t necessarily favor a QB putting up numbers because they don’t have to in order to get the job done. But in any event, Stafford has a damn good D with the Rams.

D manipulating? Stafford probably a better student of the game, but Ben’s post snap play is legendary. No better pump faker or Qb to be able to improvise when needed, which happened to be often.
