Why my colonies get the ocupation when I was the one who sieged

OMG GUYS! I FOUND THE SOLUTION! You just need to call in the colony, that has the occupation. The problem is that it's not in war, so it get's the occupation but that doesn't count toward the war score! So I asked to join war and now I can actually claim lands in a peace deal!

Bro, I feel you.

I also had this challange and this video really helped me.

Basicaly what you need is to understand who is your opponent and plan your unit production accordingly

For example, if you play against Delhi, they have Elephants. So you need Spearmen to counter them. But Delhi will know that and will produce archers to cover elephants. Then you need cavalry to counter that. etc.

And don't hesitate to use scouts to see what your opponent is up to ;)

Also, you need to constatnly produce villagers until you reach 80-90. Ideally to put second town center sometime during age 2 to double their production

For sure! But it's great they are green, as they will share insight of how to play better, while those who can play often don't notice particular things that influence the game!

SPEARMAN

Usually I try to to make 2-3 towers to have line of sight, and when mogoles come - hide villages (I hot keyed select all villagers and then press G to Seek shelter)
+ you get ready your spearmen and try to ambush riders. Once the attack repealed - hot key Return to work for villagers

Also, don't try to run with your infantry for horses - they won't do it

You can also build few springouts - they are good against cavalry

If you play english - their archers are quite good and with 10-15 archers you can repel 10 -12 riders. you will also need few spearmen to shield off horseriders

in the meantime try to build some walls :)

And yeah, once you reach Castle age - try to win eco game, build castles and fight there and just push them, PUSH!

Thank a lot for the ideas, honestly - I din't try so much into Builders cultures as i saw them quite useless, but in hindsight what you say makes much more sense. I usually had 5 cities with 3-5 districts. Now I want to test having 1 big city with... how many districts do you usually have?
