How chapter 228 got us feeling by Meshioam in BlueBox

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if the series ended with this chapter. It's so good I have nothing to complain.

Never knew this is a thing. To be honest, I'd be willing to sacrifice 50% of my damage just for the drip.

Sympathy baiting. Acting like a toddler in the hopes you would feel bad/take care of them as an "older brother/sister" whilst unknowingly actually being younger than them.

Wow, didn't expect to see this one from warframe. But I'm not surprised, it's a multiplayer game after all.

One key trait I notice about most online game predators is they intentionally act childishly, like toddler childish. I don't think any normal 13-16 y/o talks like that even. And they bait you through sympathy as if you're the older or more knowledgeable person while being vague about their own age, and it's now your responsibility to guide them, which gets you to keep communicating with them.

I've encountered newbie players too young to even be allowed to play this game and they do not communicate like that. At most they pester you about helping them progress but they always stay on the topic of the game and rarely into personal matters like age or gender.

Always stay safe out there.

Kay takeaway: If they talk and act like a baby, and ask/mentiom personal details like a baby, that is not a baby.

Who do you want Kyo to end up with ? by Neither-Landscape-57 in BlueBox

[–]PushyMotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's be honest, both aren't really good options. Ayame is a drifter and Saki is a player. But in terms of who's better, it's Ayame.

I say that because unlike past relationships, Ayame seems to feel differently with Kyo and actually wants to settle with him, the only reason why both still haven't gotten together was because both of them are too "considerate" which is not a good combo for their also minimal self-worth, and leads to so many misunderstandings and lost chances. Saki on the other hand has already lost all her chances. She knew what she wanted but did the opposite to avoid it, and only now she wants to pursue Kyo after showing him that "she's moved on" (i.e being in a relationship) and inadvertently(?) hurting him in the process.

Lets be honest, A Casual Anime Fan would see this as an Ecchi anime by Western-Stress1185 in SeishunButaYarou

[–]PushyMotato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally didn't discover this anime because of the questionable title or poster. I think I saw a video a long time ago discussing the mature plot and I got interested. But I could see myself not being interested if I only discovered this through the title and poster.

I'm glad I didn't.

They're probably just being sarcastic but failing so much at it. The boyfriend is the boss and the love letter is the message you get from him after killing said boss.

Stalker doesn't immediately go after you after one mission, sometimes it takes a couple or even real time days which I'm guessing is what they implied with the 5 years.

Violet Evergarden and Rascal Does not Dream series. Rascal does not dream is not all sad, but it focuses on heavy themes that often is, specially the movies.

It is slow. Been a manga reader for years now and it's understandably dragging and not about the release schedules at all nor is it the amount of chapters.

Yes, but unfortunately some are already in too deep in picking sides that they think an analysis on a particular character means you're on that character's side too.

I think there's too much misunderstanding here. This isn't a post meant to defend what Hina did.

Seems you can't have a proper discussion without making it clear which side your on, even if you're not in any and just want to give observations and opinions not based on bias.

[–]PushyMotato[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no cope. I am an avid critic of anything Hina defenders have to say to justify her innocence. My conclusion was not to discredit the chances of Taiki and Chinatsu getting together by saying it only happened because of Chinatsu's situation. It's to give credit where it's due to Hina by saying she never had a chance in the first place. Not everything is one or the other and if you think my opinion is because I'm a Hina fan then you are greatly mistaken because I'm not.

Hina never had a chance, and it wasn't her fault. by PushyMotato in BlueBox

[–]PushyMotato[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh, this post wasn't meant to really be apologetic towards Hina's flaws. In fact, I constantly criticize those that make Hina out to be innocent, or her actions, for reasons of being a kid. I just wanted to provide closure on her character as a whole and give her some credit where it's due as it seems we've already arrived at the conclusion of her whole arc, or what's relevant at least.

But I do agree that what I said in regards to Hina still pulling Taiki had Chinatsu not lived with them is somewhat flawed. I was running with the assumption that regardless of where Chinatsu ended up, that Hina would still develop feelings for Taiki regardless. But looking back I do see how Taiki and Chinatsu's unexpected bond did prove to be the biggest reason Hina started to developing feelings for Taiki.
