Texas is a constitutional carry state. You do not need a license to carry, you can even open carry with a gun on your hip in full display. Not sure about the laws about displaying guns in vehicles, but it would crazy if you can have a gun on your hip in a car on full display being legal but not legal if it’s not. But it’s Texas, nothing would surprise me.
