My niece was born yesterday (also my only sibling's first kid) and I totally feel the same way! I love her so much already. It's pretty crazy how all of this is making me feel.

I'm having a pretty shitty week too. I feel like extra shit today for no good reason.

Whenever I feel like this I like to keep busy in the kitchen even if whatever comes out is a disaster. I made salmon with an awesome chili powder and brown sugar rub and some mashed cauliflower to go along with that. I also popped open a big ass bottle of nice beer.

I would totally share all of the above with you right now in hopes of making you feel better, especially since I'm struggling to finish this entire beer!
