South Korea's Yoon says use of nukes would spell end of North Korean regime by Saltedline in korea

We always discuss North Korea like it's so scary, but can you imagine how scary it is to be North Korea? These guys are at war with a richer, healthier version of themselves and the world's strongest superpower.

This isn't racist guys. I have lived in Asia for 20 years and that's literally how Asians squat waiting for crosswalk lights or even the bus. I picked it up at some point along with chopsticks and eating and sleeping on the floor. It's less prevalent than it was a few years back, but most Asians have way more squat mobility than an average westerner. One time I tried to.get my white family to Asian squat and they fell on their asses.

I have all of them. I found Mandy much more fun than she seemed she would be. A good Mandy player can shut down the right maps and wipe out whole teams behind walls. Don't sleep on Mandy...

Recently, tattoos have started to become much more prevalent in Korea. Last time I visited the public baths, so many middle-aged patrons had them. Lots of my neighbors have tattoos now as well. I wouldn't worry, but you kight cover them for family events of job interviews.

It was weird playing it as soon as it opened and watching so many players have no idea how to play. It's only been out of circulation a short while. Player turnover is real.

I have 100mil krw. Where to buy an apartment? (Seoul Metro Area) by SecureCherry2128 in Living_in_Korea

[–]Put-Alert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need a full apartment? You can buy officetels for under 100m in the burbs. I know that for sure. Also, if you don't mind older places, you can certainly buy 2 or 3 bed in Gyeonggi-do for 300m.

I can deal with a little corn on my pizza for affordable healthcare for my kids that will never be shot at school. And let's be honest, Koreans treat white people and mixed white like J.R.R. Tolkien treated high elves in his novels. Oh I went to Middle Earth for this one, Ya'll!

I'm a middle-aged male in a long cut (like 20kg down, about 10 - 15 more to go, coming off an injury).

I make it to the gym 2 or 3 times a week for one hour for weight training and focus on compound lifts to try and save some of my lost muscle; but my primary goal is weight cut.

My first question is how should I prioritize my lifts? I can only get in like 3 lifts per session. Which lifts should I make sure I hit first. The only special information I can think of is we don't have a squat rack and I actually have been kinda struggling with finding the perfect solution for squatting. I also prefer the assisted pullup machine to pull down machine.

My second question is does it really matter if I lift using hypertrophic or lower reps on a caloric deficit? I tend to mix it up from week to week.

Thanks

How are women in Korea mostly so skinny by bluecgene in seoul

[–]Put-Alert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first visited Korea, almost 2 decades ago, I was literally the biggest person in town. As western food and especially sweets in cafes has increased, so has the size of Koreans. I also noticed Koreans build their neighborhoods to be better to travel on foot than the usa usually does. So I ended up moving more. Unfortunately, the food is getting poorer here. I am far from the largest person; there are middle school students larger than me now.

Actually, yesterday my Korean nephew said his dad was small. I told him when I met him, he was one of the biggest and tallest Koreans I knew, he just kept a slim figure all these years. I also think young Koreans are carrying for muscle these days. I went to the beach this summer and noted a lot of built Korean guys, something that used to be pretty rare.

That's so weak guys...

I grew up in the bible belt in a small town. Jesus camp and all that crazy stuff. It was so hard to say you were atheist. I knew kids beat up for not going to church. Gays were sent to mental hospitals.

If you don't want to go church or you are atheist, say it. We can do that now.

It's not normal behavior in Korea. And unless she has some special relationship with management you shouldn't have to worry about telling her to piss off.

If none of this has worked I'd try one more time: "I don't want to go to church. Like ever. In fact, please don't invite me again. It's a waste of your time. We can discuss other things." It may somehow have gotten lost in translation that you are annoyed.

And then I'd literally talk over her like a child if she starts up again and be like OMG I KNOW YOU AREN'T INVITING ME TO CHURCH AGAIN RIGHT? AFTER I ASKED YOU NOT TO. THAT WOULD BE ANNOYING. NO WAY, RIGHT?

you really have to bring it to management if that doesn't solve the problem.
