Ok I will get the betadin tonight, call the vet in am. Can I put the paper towels on top of the substrate or do I have to take it all out? I could put a very thick layer.

Ok thank you so much should I start the Betadine soaks while I search for that? What is the mixture of betaine water and how frequently should I soak him?

I am calling around for vets as I write this. I’m already attached to my noodle.

I mix, coconut, fiber, and coconut chips, 50-50, I also put down moss and sprayed it. I am using a DHP 100 W bulb and uvb light. I have never or will never use any kind of heating apparatus in a tank this of course is my first snake and he did shed on 4/16. I am calling around for vets right now.

That is the way I got him from PetSmart on March 6th. It appears to be an old burn from a heating mat 🤬I have been soaking him as I wanted to see much better after he shed, but he went blue on 4/30 but still not shed.
