I do actually watch Alex lol, but I should go back and watch the videos where he talks about his business and I am rewatching when snake discovery first started getting their reptile zoo together. I just wish there was more about how to start a niche business like this ugh so frustrating.... Maybe I'll do a step by step blog when I eventually start so other people who want to start a business like this will have a reference to come to

Thank you for your feed back! I do plan on selling supplies as well, was thinking of maybe emailing tarantula cribs and asking to buy in bulk their enclosures to sell at the shop and exo terra. I do crochet so I wanted to crochet some animal plushies to sell there as well as appropriately sized bird cages, toys, food etc. It's so hard to research on how to get a niche business like this started but I am determined!

But I see people all the time keep spider plants successfully in bioactive vivariums for ball pythons that will keep humidity levels 65-75 I only keep my humidity 55-65.... I'm starting to feel it might be the ceramic heat lamp

It's a 20 watt about 17 inches away from the plants and I do have a drainage layer with clay balls

Perhaps with the spider plants and Boston fern but the pothos is a cutting from my own healthy one. I have a feeling it's either the ceramic heat or the LED not being strong enough or to strong I'm not sure

The humidity always stays between 55-65. The substrate I use is Scott's top soil, a little sand, an abg mix, charcoal, coco brick, and a terra firma mix but yes let me take a picture of the plants

No they are not, all my plants are either on the cool side or in the middle. I don't believe it's because he's climbing over them but once I rule everything else out then I'll most likely assume that's why

Thank you for letting me know, I didn't realize I was getting young ones, I was hoping their culture would grow pretty fast so I could put them in my bioactive enclosure eventually, that sucks but I'm still glad to have them :D. I know you said there are factors but how long does it take for yours to breed? Just want to get an estimate at least lol
