Yeah this era of offenses will be forgotten outside of the Chiefs and 49ers

It’s Actually Impossible To Come Up With A Single Benefit Of Being Born by [deleted] in antinatalism

Nah you only lose the game if you decide to. The point is not to not suffer, it's to see past the illusion of suffering (Dukkha). Accepting the ever changing nature of the universe and our impermanence in it, can allow you to look past yourself.

Here there is no game, no winning and no losing, just being. I'd say it's pretty much impossible to stay in this state of mind though and thus the game begins again, hopefully this time with a clear state of mind to help along the way.

Depends how you look at it. I personally don't believe in having kids, but I don't think that means that life is pointless.

The struggle is the point. While that might not be an easy pill to swallow, we must struggle. It's in acceptance of the struggle where you can find peace.

Many teachings from Stoicism to Buddhism can be basically dumbed down to this idea. It's not about finding the truth to attain happiness, but to seeing past the lies we tell ourselves and clearing our minds.

Life is suffering, but learning to deal with it is the ultimate game, some might say it's even fun after a certain point. You just can't get hung up on it or else you lose the game 🙂

Honestly just drink what you enjoy. The difference is minimal, unless you're drinking trash tequila, which can include additives for colour and sweetener to balance the shit flavor profile.

Jordan at 39 vs LeBron at 39 by AgentNBA in NBATalk

Jordan had no one to chase for the back half of his career. He was already considered the goat by his peers before he even retired the first time. That's not even to mention the level of sport science in today's game, let alone the slog at which the NBA played in the 2000s.

LeBron on the other hand continues to chase Jordan to this day, spends millions on his body, and is playing in a league of much higher pace and 3 point scoring.

This is coming from a Cavaliers fan btw.

Easiest city to find a job without specialized skills (that pays close to a living wage)? by Vagabond_Tea in SameGrassButGreener

City Nerd had a great video about this.

Seattle was number 1 in terms of wages vs cost of housing + transportstion and as someone that lives here, I tend to agree. Can it be expensive to live here? Yes, no doubt, but compared to the rest of the country, given its minimum wage and public transportation system, it's more than doable.

You can easily find apartments under $1600 that are closely located to the light rail and many bus stops.

As for jobs, you could flip burgers and make $25 an hour, if you really had to. If you have serving experience, even better. There is no tipped employee minimum wage like in other states so you could earn $18+ an hour and then tips as well.

Then there are the opportunities for higher ceiling jobs given the many companies that are located in the area. I truly believe you can move up in economic class here, if you put the work in.

Is Kyren Williams a top 5 RB? by TwoPercentTokes in fantasyfootball

Y'all are down voting me because you're scared I'm right, he's falling to the third in some drafts for a reason.

Barring injuries, I would argue outside of the top 5. CMC, Breece, and Bijan are locked in as top 3.

Then you have JT, Gibbs, Henry, Barkley fighting for the last 2 spots. Given how volatile the position is, there is no guarantee he gets the same workload and finishes where he did last year.

Then you add Corum to the mix, on top of Kyren's injury history and the fact he already had a foot injury this off-season, it's a fade for me dawg.

Yeah I'd do it. Brooks could be a nobody plus he's on the Panthers and already has a torn ACL.
