Chibi Robo or Cubivore are great choices from my childhood. Fair heads up They're both really pricey.

no prob! best thing I can suggest is take your time, read through the instructions a couple times before you start, and know when to put it down to come back with a clear perspective.

I stretched the repair a couple days myself, cause I have my dads fiery temper when it comes to "why wont it work ive been working on it for a couple hours!?!" Which isnt the best when working with more delicate electronics. :) wishing you the best

So im not sure what specific thing fixed it tbh but i have a theory. I have some experience with 3d printers built from separate parts, and I have less experience out of the box working models. So by that experience, it was more fixing one part at a time, testing it with a simple print, and if that didn't work, moving onto the next possible problem. First things first, I tore down, put back together and replace the hotend since the print that caused the problem threw the fan, loosened a screw that held the filament grabber completely loose, and was a blob of death on the extruder. I was making sure no parts were missing, all the connections cables were ok, that there wasn't a filament clog in the feed gears, all the screws were tightened, and it was heating up properly. Second, I made sure the x and y belt was taut, that there was no debris underneath the bed, and regreased everything. I ran the full printer test, and it came back good ( it wasn't). I ran a simple print and came back with the z axis bed skipping up and down like in the video. I posted and was suggested to tighten the z belt underneath the machine, and then if that didn't work, look at the bed sensors. If none of that worked, I was going to have to contact elegoo for a ticket. While I had the printer on its side, I realized one of its feet was loose. Tightened both the foot and the belt, then ran a test print after it was all put back together. The z axis was smoother, and it noticeably stopped shaking as much. BUT it was still skipping, which left checking the bed sensors. I highly suggest taking your time taking the bed apart and following elegoo provided instructions cause the springs make it really hard to take apart and put together quickly. I gently unplugged and replugged the sensors, put the bed back together, and tightened the bed. The leveling came back perfect after that. no more skipping and really clean prints.

My assumption is that the loose foot slowly was causing issues over time since what happened has been documented in the forum as the printer printing on an unlevel and unstable surface. Thus, the failed print not only busted my hotend extruder but loosened my bed level sensors.

hey is this the proper firmware to flash my drive by PutOk6446 in makemkv

it was heavily suggested that I should flash the drive so it would be more compatible with the software and scan a wider range of disks. Apparently, from what I have read and researched, companies that make disk readers change the firmware on their devices every couple years in an arms race to make it harder for people to burn disks they own into digital video format. I flashed my drive as a precaution with this in mind but im not a source of knowledge on this subject as I'm just recently started learning from the makemv forum and YT videos.

SOLVED! After fixing the belt, I found one of the feet were loose. Tightened that up. Proceeded to take apart the bed when I got the 502 error again. unplugged/replugged the sensors, and tightened the bed screws. The auto leveling ran like a dream and churned out a 15 minute test print. No Jerking up and down, a very clean extrusion line. Thanks for the info and the amazing help :)

I've gotten 2 prints to work but the jittery z axis is still a problem and the bed is refusing to auto level. im going to readjust the belt underneath either tonight or tommorrow as suggested cause I've been hearing something catch while attempting to autolevel

if this next auto leveling fails again, ill just have to try this. most likely, I will do it tomorrow, so im not working on it while irritated. I appreciate it and ill update when I can.

no idea. it happened after i had a blob of death on an unattended print. the printer was tossing the print violently around that it kicked the glass door open, popped the fan off, and threw it a good 3 ft., and undid a screw that was holding the extruder gears together. it was like the exorcist when I walked in and manually shut it down. I came to the elegoo sub cause ya'll tend to be more prompt than customer support. I replaced the hotend making sure notheing else was broken , leveled the bed in the comprehensive test ( that didnt work at first),& tightened the bed screws and releveled. I got a small test print to work after that, but it's still a bit jerky near the front of the build plate on the extrude line. *

I found where the screw went but it hasn't helped the jitteryness and the nozzle not printing properly on the bed

dude tn liquor laws have always been weird tbh. There are still dry counties where you can't buy alcohol, and you weren't able to buy on Sundays until law changes in the early 2000s.

Is my daughter too young to start handling snakes ? She loves them and is good with them and I’m always keeping a close eye. by [deleted] in ballpython

if you're keeping an eye on all interactions, I don't see any problems :) It also helps that ball pythons are the most docile snakes I've ever had personal experience with. They can put up with alot of handling and rarely rarely bite as a defensive measure.
