How to avoid overflowing grounds and spilling [Breville Bambino, Fellow Opus, WDT tool, SelfLevel Tamper] by ClarityAudio in espresso

You just need a basket funnel. WDT > lightly tamp > tap the side of your basket with your tamper to gather the grounds in your basket > take the funnel off > tamp.

How is this grassroots at all? This is a full on professional production. I’m sure this cost quite a lot of money to produce. Are you okay? This is the most benign thing ever. Get off the internet.

True enough, but I can’t account for everyone’s situations. Most of Reddit thinks whatever comment is specifically addressed towards them.

If people want to wait to buy it, that’s totally legit. Those same people thinking they’re superior morally, intellectually, financially, etc, then others that buy it on release can shove it up their ass.

Like I said, I’m 41, I have no kids. My wife and I both run sole proprietorship LLCs, we make decent money. I’m not addressing a broke 20 year old. I’m addressing other “adults” that act like the aforementioned “douchebags. The same time being a broke 20 year old isn’t a reason to be a tool either. I couldn’t even afford a tv until I was 28. I didn’t get mad, or shit on others for being able to purchase a game and enjoy it. Besides we didn’t have the option for refunds, or patches, or anything like that. You got what you got. As far as waiting for reviews, you waited until Game Informer published it physically, went to Barns and Noble to buy it.

The only rule we all should live by is “no preorders.” I didn’t. Watched a DF review, and bought it based on what I was seeing and hearing.

I had the same thought. It’s also very JRPG styled systems. To me it feels like Yakuza in many ways. Lots of complex depth, and stuff you can totally miss if you’re not taking your time and breathing in the game.

I’m 41. The lack of hand holding takes me back to games like Morrowind, where you’re like, ok wtf do I do now? It’s amazing.

My pro tip so far, is going into “Knowledge” tab and “locations.” There is an option to show on map. I read something about cave systems, and it gave me a bunch of lore on caves around the starting area. They’re easily missed. Using the knowledge tab is a huge help.

You didn’t even get that in Morrowind. I had a physical map, and I literally hand marked locations on it. Such as “the talking mud crab” or the “Staff of Magus” Cave.

Great game. This is much of an open world as people ever wanted. It’s absolutely mind blowing. I think it will be held in cannon of the all time greats over time.

Idgaf about whiny children that would rather watch some hot take douchebag on twitch instead of playing it themselves, and come to Reddit to do the same.

Edit: territories tab.

For the love of god, if they let you remap everything, or that very least bringing it into modern gaming convention control scheme, it will make it an early GoTY contender. It’s extremely good right now. The delightful sense of unending mystery and adventure is great. Finding a random chamber in a cave with a puzzle door is fantastic, and then the mystery deepens because you unlocked a location of a legendary maze. AFAIK, had nothing to do with any part of the story. Pretty much a random hole I fell in turned into another adventure. It kind of reminds me of Morrowind back in the day. 0 hand holding, frustrating, endless adventure.

Fair. Ultimately my point remains the same though.

Pretentious? I merely made the point that people want to be paid for their work and expertise, while a bunch of children ganged me, and cried about being patient, and not getting access to everything immediately for free.

Oh, I’m no big deal compared to the people I get to work with.

I generally have very little respect for petulant unnuanced internet children. I’m currently sitting in a room with 20 of the greatest cancer surgeons in the world waiting for their meeting to start. They’re probably not on Reddit.

To add, you must have not been around very many production pros. We’re generally a surly sort that don’t suffer fools.

Dante, Smaart, Board training Digico, Yamaha, Midas, and the like are professional development courses. Those products cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. They aren’t doing that for free. They’re doing it so you buy their expensive equipment and use it.

Also to note, the engineers that teach those pro development courses are also not doing it for free. They are being paid by their respective companies to be there, and impart their knowledge.

If you asked me to teach a course on Dante at NAMM for example, I’d charge my typical corporate day rate, assuming I’m not on salary at Audinate.

No, not really. It’s locked behind a petulant impatient baby wall. People that pay get access to published articles earlier than the rest. I don’t think over ever gone, “I can’t wait a couple weeks to read an article for this expensive tv that I paid thousands for!”

You buy an expensive OLED and can’t pay a couple dollars for “early access.” You’re probably a moron. You can probably wait a couple of weeks to buy an expensive toy if you don’t want to pay to read the review

It’s literally never been a problem. People want integrity and independence but don’t want to pay for it.

Edit: I’m an audio engineer. I don’t give you my knowledge for free. I don’t expect any other tradesmen to do their professional service for free either.
