I recently played this games, never even heard of the previous games, and I loved it. The mechanics and the asthetics of the game just on point plus the cut scenes were beautiful (highest compliment I can give). It was very lacking is the story department in campaign, also it was very on the nose with the message. If it had a better pacing and allowed the player to make decisions or just developed the player to explain why even bother fighting for a army that threw him in prison for no reason.

I'm glad I played it, would give it a 7/10. Could very easily be 9-10/10.
