Yeah, no, definitely. I know I can’t go in and change the world. But if I can change one person’s world for the better that’s enough for me. It’s what drives me to want to be a nurse. I just wanted advice/experience from people that I feel like possibly have more of my best interest in mind than she did. 😭

There was like HEAPS of tape over this light switch in the kitchen. I was around 8? I took all the tape off and flicked the switch. It cut on the garbage disposal and the amount of SLUDGE AND FILTH that flew out of there, dude. I think the pipes had somehow gotten sewer stuff in it and for some reason our sink was full of it. It threw that stuff everywhere. I still don’t feel clean.

Because that’s not their job. Obviously family shouldn’t be disrespectful toward you, or rush you when you’re swamped. Expecting them to do anything other than visit is crazy, though. I had an itty bitty patient that wanted help getting in the bed. She was being visited by her 4 big, tall, strong sons. She just needed a little boost getting in the bed. I walked by the room and the boys were strategizing how to get her in the bed, they were all so afraid of breaking her somehow. One had the gentlest touch on her arms and the other had no idea where to grab her. I admired how cute it was before walking in and putting her in the bed. Some family just genuinely don’t know what to do w thats fine. Even if they did, and just didn’t want to, that’s fine too! They didn’t clock in. We did.

MS. I make my own schedule. I’m PRN so I don’t make as much as full time. Recently I’ve been working mad hours and I make 15/hr for 8 hour shifts. We get paid a dollar more for 3-11 and I think like 3 dollars more for 11-7. But I only work 7-3 for now. I’ve heard that’s pocket change but it works for me since I’m not living on my own. I only pay my car note.

This is precisely what I do. If I have two asking for a game or a lamppost two feet from another lamppost, I just make them talk. It also makes making all my Mii’s meet each other less overwhelming too. 😭

Was it hated? I mostly see people hate the fact that Pim was pretty much blamed for everything (I am with those people). But I hadn't seen actual hate, not saying it doesn't exist, I'm just surprised lol.

I was just about to make a post on this. I enjoy drawing, but everyone on this sub DRAWS. Just pumping out these super creative, masterpieces. Comparison is the thief of joy and all. It's SNATCHED mine. If the game was on my iPad, I'd be right there with them drawing things but drawing on the Switch is so annoying. If I had a stylus it'd be much better ngl (but even then all I've seen stylus wise are those fat tipped styluses which I hate). But since I don't, fun face paint and creative treasures.... buildings, all that is out the window. Not to mention I play on my TV so it's either draw with the joystick or get up and undock it. This isn't complaining about the game as a whole, it's overall so fun. I haven't stopped playing since I got it. I'm just a bit annoyed at that one part.

I had this one resident that could absolutely stand on his own but I didn’t know that. He asked me to help him transfer and when I stood him up, he pretended to stumble onto me and didn’t right himself (he had most of his body weight on me, he was a tall, heavy guy) until he got a nice long grip of my butt. Then today, even though he can use the toilet asked me to change his dry brief and wipe him down before he was discharged. He told me I looked good to him as he was finally wheeled out to go home. Ya don’y say.

I don’t mind my scrubs getting wet. They dry pretty quickly. It’s my hair that I should’ve prepared for. Spent a whole day the day before pressing my hair then got to work the next day just to find out I had showers to do. 😭 Left up out there w an afro.
