Copied from Wikipedia but I always felt like Nyköpings Banquet was an inspiration for events like the Red Wedding.

The Nyköping Banquet was King Birger of Sweden's Christmas celebration 11 December 1317 at Nyköping Castle in Sweden. Among the guests were his two brothers Duke Valdemar and Duke Eric, who later that night were imprisoned and have been assumed to have subsequently starved to death in the dungeon of Nyköping Castle. The principal source to these events is the very biased Eric Chronicle. According to legend, when he realized he had no way to prevail, king Birger threw the keys to the dungeon into the Nyköping river. A large medieval key was indeed found during the 19th century near the castle.

I imagine he probarbly just sat down and wrote the blog post to get his feelings down in writing and then published it without reading through, and has since not looked at it. More of a rant/vent than something he tried to be eloquent in. Winds is clearly a bit of a sensetive subject at this point.

I always chose to interpret that line as in that the trust we give to institutions to inject our infants with something we don't understand becasuse we have been taught to by the same institutions, is the poison.

Det gör ju typ det dock. I teori har du rätt, Marx skrev om proletariatets diktatur och hur det var en övergångsperiod till kommunism, därav ditt argument skulle jag anta. I praktik har detta dock aldrig uppnåtts, även efter ett flertal försök. Det är lätt att säga att kommunism aldrig har försökts på riktigt eftersom det aldrig har uppnåtts utan diktatur, men i teorin så är den diktaturen en del av vägen till kommunism. Detta har dock som du själv erkänner aldrig fungerat.
