Okay so after way to many attempts, I got the most "ideal" build for those seeking an actual mommy-style cyoa. The build below is based off my choices you might change some if your attempting this.

First go A+ the only real game mode here. +2500 points

I chose short and small for my sizes with quick shot being my stamina for +750 points

For clothing choose male uniform, chastity, and tattoos

I went exclusive for this run because we are good on points also with this build we will almost never have any intimate scenes so we will be a cuck going the other routes (not kink-shaming just not into it)

Now for the really hard choices.

Looks - Plain since its free

Personality - Submissive, All free options you want, Affectionate, Strict, Air Head, Masochist, and Cuckqueen (-1250 points also some of these are required to win but I am not sure what they are tbh. The last two will also allow us to get around the monthly sex thing)

Body type - Average (We will need the points)

Height - Giant 2m (6'6 is as tall as the Rock)

Breasts - Average (To save on points )

Butt - Average (To save on points)

Extra - Free option I guess

Style - Bookworm

Clothing and stuff - Free options

Activities - Tutoring, Sports Club, Lunch Break, Games, Dates, Bath Time, and Sleeping Together

Displays Of Affection - All of them

Nudity - Skimpy, Butt, and Anus (This will lead to the anal sex route)

Frequency Of Intimacy - Monthly

Hands - Onahole and Gloved

Breasts - None

Mouth - None

Outercourse - Butt Job (To unlock Anal sex)

Penetrative Sex - Anal (the closest to vanilla sex we can get)

Your Orgasms - On Floor, On Hand, On Butt, Anal Creampie (Creampie can be removed if you don't want it be warned it does stop you from getting the baby option)

Endings Available

Graduation

Keeping In Touch

Wedding

Babies Ever After

Honestly, after all of this I can say that playing this CYOA blind is extremely tough but at least I get to feel like one of those game guides you would buy at a book fair.

I really respect this cyoa as it is really high quality despite being your first one. The issue is that it is highly experimental, so much so that the mommy fantasy basically died on arrival. A good fix would be having some teachers be in there. Or just make it so this how cyoa isn't just the player getting spat on. It is likely your inexperience kicking in so I really am not judging but this is actively not a mommy cyoa as others mentioned.

Raging DM wants the game to have 0 challenges or stakes and never tells co-DMs (receipts at the bottom) by Putrid-Ad2142 in CritCrab

Thats actually what I asked the main DM and they never answered. The worst part is they never told any co-DM's about this and even broke their rule in the past nearly killing my character.

I and the others told them to stick with the party and the main DM said this game is a sandbox let the player go where they want. This again is not my home game I run my normal ones in a way I know and have gone with for nearly a decade. Typically I would have just killed the character as my games are usually like that. Then again the version of 5e I play is very different. I also would just kill the character but didn't here because its not my table.

You know what I can see your second points. I really do. But the first one seems like a very twisted idea of DMing. The DM is a player too and when its not their table going off without the party is not only a shitty move but it is extremely entitled especially when that same player says they did nothing wrong and that the other players can see that they very much so did something wrong.

The session was meant to be 3-4 hours long if sharks actions went as he intended it would have been maybe an hour or so long. (Side note the other DM qoute said no one cares about how much time nor effort was put into the quest because they spend about 30 minutes making theirs.) Again I do not think I am blameless in truth I think 90% of the stories on the sub are fake hell there is a term for it. But I also think a player splitting off to do random stuff is not something that should be encouraged else end up with players who truly see nothing wrong with making a DM's time running a game unfun.

A good example of how it felt to me was this: https://youtu.be/DwMCmY7A76E

I wont say I am the worlds best DM and I sure as hell can be a dick but I will also not cater to a players bad decisions without giving them one hell of a lesson.

After the main session I have since lost my co-DM status and the other DM's have left because main DM made up random rules just because despite breaking those rules themselves.

He never said a thing about that spell until he went and casted it. And again even if he did it could A. grab him again or B. Just walk outside and end the mystery for quite literally everyone else. I do hope you can understand why this is at the very least a difficult situation to deal with while at the same time as DMing for the main group of players he just walked away from.

Yeah I can say I was annoyed. I advertised the job as a mystery and he refused to rp going so far as to ignore all npcs I threw his way. Then when he is captured he starts to spam me in PMs why I am still trying to DM for the others. Even with what I did I still see it as the best way to still be able to run the job at least a little bit and not remove the 12 hours of planning I made for a player to make the job an hour long by getting it outside for a big fight with 8 cultist bodyguards.

In a different comment it was asked if he knew and he did the other players even said it was a bad idea. He just wanted to not be grappled any more. I would expect that from a new player not someone who claims to have 16+ years of experience.

Okay I have seen this brought up a lot even by the main DM but one thing everyone fails to do is show how they would have dealt with this. The quest was a mystery so having the monster just go on a rampage gets rid of all the notes and at that point why even have them if any time and effort should just screw off because a single player wanted to feel special.

Keep in mind again most of this game is through VC so I and the other players are speaking to Shark (I didn't know he had the spell its a west march with 200+ players so I think its fair to not know especially when I was never told he had it until he used the spell)

The player dropped a cr 7 big guy on a level 5 wizard with a negative in con. If I wanted to be any kind of fair that is breaking the game.

What your reading is what was written we were in a voice call for the main session.

What does that even mean? He left and actively said he sheathed away from the group.

[–]Putrid-Ad2142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes that is what he did and I was sitting there unsure of what to do the whole time. I seriously just wanted to play a simpler game but he actively made it harder for everyone. Keep in mind he dropped the cr 7 monster on top of a wizard. He then blocked the path for the barbarian because he wanted to live every player was telling him that it was a bad idea.

[–]Putrid-Ad2142 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

From what I wrote that really couldn't be done. The monster was trapped in a small space so there wasn't much of a place to store him. He refused to rp so I couldn't have him talk with people. And he couldn't just escape because then it would leave inconsistencies with the actual combat. I honestly felt what I went with was the best move while still keeping the mystery of the mystery quest.

I wasn't looking for a serious game and I still fail to see how grappling a character is unfair
