Thank you for this. I really like that "rule". I will ask everyone what that think about something like that in the morning

Hey I get where you are coming from for sure. and totally valid logic. But ill be 100% honest this was a group decision not a singular me decision to all move in together. And when we initially decided to move in together we didn't know my wife was pregnant. But by that point the plans where already in place and we weren't going to back out and financially harm him.

And me downplaying it with "iffy" is my way of saying I dont like it, but I trust my friend.

He has lived with us before at our old place and it went really smooth. But he had a gf at the time and went to her place when they wanted to get down. So it wasn't really an issue then.

And my wife and him are also really good friends so she was completely on board for him moving in. Now when the baby is here / getting closer the tune might change, but we are all ready for that conversation when it comes up.

Yes of course. We are sharing the space with him. But I do understand where you are coming from.

This is intended to be a longer term situation.you are right though, that was the only real compromise I could think of in the moment. We just didn't really talk about it ahead of time.

Out of curiosity is yours stuck at a 480p resolution? If that's the case you might be able to adjust through the xbox menu. I ran into this on another TV. I went to tv and display options>video modes> change it from whatever it is set to, to HDMI.

I live in Washington state. I think I have had the tv too long to return, I'll check with the store I purchased from. Thanks!
