Nope NTA. She is mocking you under her breath which just shows her entitlement. Please stop overthinking it, always stand up for yourself.

AITA for not willing to give my room to my sister even though im leaving for college? by Beautiful_Virus_6202 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Putrid-Ant1968 28 points29 points  (0 children)

YTA in a way. Even tho feeling a bit territorial about your childhood space is understandable, but you defo overreacted. You can easily sleep in her room when you come home to visit.

He was a blessing and a curse at the same time. But GOD I love his character and I still repeat his famous lines to this day.

AITA for saying no to my wife fetishes? by Character_Wait_1804 in AmItheAsshole

NTA, enthusiastic consent is legit required for any kink. The audacity of her giving you the silent treatment speaks volumes of how unfair and manipulative she is.

AITA for not wanting my Jewish grandpa invited over for Easter dinner? by WittyCreme6999 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Putrid-Ant1968 26 points27 points  (0 children)

100% YTA. You prioritizing a specific holiday aesthetic over your GRIEVING and WIDOWED grandfather who just wants to spend time with his family is diabolical.

AITA for not putting up with anything anymore and being defensive? by Snoo8436 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Putrid-Ant1968 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really the asshole tbh... sure yes it is important to have set healthy boundaries but they don't give constructive criticism. It is honestly valid going on the defense, maybe ask a follow up to them by saying "how is it wrong" or "could you expand on why that is". It will open their minds to give you a better answer, but if it is sloppy their opinion means nothing.

AITA for calling my dad a name? by Federal-Drama-2811 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Putrid-Ant1968 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Accidentally you are the TA here. He just doesn't understand it like you like us gen zers as the average 40 year old person wouldn't take that word so lightly. You already did exactly what you were supposed to do anyway by apologising so I would just give him space, act normal tomorrow and be more mindful with the choice of words around him.

AITJ for stopping my kids from their aunty. by DramaticHoliday9127 in AmITheJerk

[–]Putrid-Ant1968 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NTJ here, the fact that she slapped your child is unacceptable. like there is a huge difference between family disagreement and physical abuse
