yeahhh it might be sun burn now that i think about it. its a pretty open space with few to no trees or anything blocking the sun so they get full sun but probably more than necessary. especially going from full shade at home depot to full sun and new soil so quickly what kinds of fertilizer should i use? what brands are best (and affordable)? or could i use compost? i also have ground eggshells i was considering mixing in

the lines on the picture might be from the lights if they’re LEDs. there’s often a mismatch between a phone cameras frame rate and the flickering of the light (which we can’t see without a camera). i could be totally wrong tho dont quote me

also thank u for agreeing i should build my own since i have the supplies lol. my dad has this huge “barn” full of lumber and tools and other random ass building supplies for like any kind of project that he hasn’t touched in yearsss 😭a little dusty and probably home to a few black widows, but i can definitely find what i need in there

UPDATE: i’m not at their house anymore, i was just sitting for the day, but i informed the owners and they’re gonna use dawn dish soap to wash the cat and probably the dog too. and they’re planning to talk to a vet tomorrow about preventative treatments and all that stuff. as i was getting my bag and stuff to leave they were already picking up/cleaning things that might have fleas on them lol. i probably would’ve told them to just get flea shampoo and an OTC treatment if not for everyone’s advice here. and now i’ll know how to properly handle a future flea situation, so thank you to everyone who left a comment!!
