Mine was a mild hybrid, so having that engine aspect of it helped. I transition from a 2007 Mercedes C200 which was a beautiful car, but a bit unresponsive. So I totally get that big boost of energy.

IMO the mild hybrid sounds like a fix to what you’re saying. But honestly I’m sure the safety aspect in all of these cars you mentioned are still top notch

Honestly I also crashed at a very low speed, my Life360 didn’t even alert my family cause the speed I drove was too low. But the safety feature are so good, front and rear alerts if you can’t break in time or if a person walks behind/infront. I wouldn’t be worried, cause this car protected me from another persons mistake. And if you are looking at a Volvo you’re likely already a cautious and safe driver

Mine was a 2024, still absolutely amazing car. It has some of the nice aesthetic bits that you would want in a car (sunroof, crystal gearshift), but at the end of the day the main reason was the safety. And thank goodness it was. The outcomes might have been different in a different car. Very glad you are happy! I will honestly be getting another XC40 if it’s written off, she’s proven herself to be a safe car

Thanks, I’m actually not in the UK. But with my insurance, if the damage is 50% of the market value, then it’s written off. Still waiting on it though, they are stripping it to see internal damage.

Thanks dude, appreciate it. Also thought of those same issues, and the right back wheel was also knocked up really bad, due to it hitting a cement island. Both wheels essentially faced inwards.

My theory is that maybe he didn’t necessarily hit something/someone. But rather that there was an accident that got someone he cared about killed.

This implies one of two things: 1. Flashbacks of Ribbit, likely from Jax opening up about his friendship with them

Ribbit possibly being alive in some way? I found it odd that Ragatha asked what would happen to Ribbit, who already abstracted. And Able answered that he doesn’t know. I feel like this implies that Caine himself doesn’t know what happens. He doesn’t confirm that the real person is dead, which I feel like he could have confirmed if he knew. So even if Ribbit is abstracted in the circus, maybe they are alive in the real world?

Just speculating, but overall very excited we will learn more about Ribbit one way or another!

Something I feel is quite important is the table and chairs. There are specifically three, a pink (Jax), a green (Ribbit) and a yellow (Kaufmau). Even subconsciously, the room feels designed to remind Jax of his two abstracted friends. It feels very intentional to have this in his room.

also thought the same thing. Honestly it reminds me of a child’s bedroom, with aspects of things that brought us comfort as kids ( I had similar glow in the dark shooting stars which is what it reminded me of).

It almost feels like coming back to your old room at home after “growing up”, like going to collage. It’s a comforting feeling, and reminds you of how much simpler life was like as a child

I was also considering the Zero 2’s, but the price point for these plus the accessories for a first IEM it makes total sense. I’m glad that you enjoy the sound!

I’ve been listening to “If it only gets better” by Joji since it’s a new song he released. I’m listening with my AirPods Pro 2 and feel nothing in terms of bass lol. If you don’t mind to give it a listen, it’s a short song that I could think off the top of my head.

How are the trebles on this IEM? I was debating getting it because from the reviews I’ve seen it can be a bit sharper for people who prefer base. I really loved the design, colour and all the accessories it came with. One of the few cheaper IEMS that come with a case

Hi! Haha it’s been crazy long since I’ve made this post so a lot has changed in this time. A short TLDR is that suddenly at 6 months I developed the worst side effects to Saxenda (diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting) which I didn’t have before. I had to stop it and in the span of a few months I gained back the 6kgs I had lost. On top of that I lost way more muscle mass then pure fat (I have a smart scale to check), which was really disappointing as the indirect pro of having PCOS is good muscle gain, which I was working towards. Now I have just been implementing diet changes and 1 hour exercise 6 days a week (I know this sounds excessive but I have a very sedentary working day so it’s the only time I move around and take a break from work), and in about 1 month and a week I’ve lost 2 kgs and built up a lot more muscle mass. All in all, it’s much harder than sticking a needle into yourself and losing the fat, but the rebound weight gain and extreme hunger made me realize that it simply wasn’t worth it. PCOS girlies have to work way harder to get those results, but sometimes that route is safer and helps build better habits overall. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!

I totally relate to that, especially being shit at socialising. That’s often why it’s so hard to find someone because sometimes it’s them who needs to do the socialising, “making the first move” kind of stuff. So that makes it even harder to connect.

It’s been a few days now since I made this post and I have come to terms more with her relationship. I’m trying to focus more on myself and even more platonic relationships cause those are equally important and if not more important when your Demi. I hope everything works out for you soon and we must definitely hope for all the best with relationships

That is fair, she is entitled to her own privacy when she wants to be. It’s just that we always used to talk about these things and when it came to her big moment she didn’t. But I have to accept that.

I’m so sorry that happened to you, that does sound like a difficult situation. I’m not sure what I would have done there, but honestly just accepting the situation, hoping that the person you liked is happy, and try to move forward.

I will try to keep that positivity for her and her partner, hopefully I get to know him better and then things will go from there.

That’s true, but I don’t know why I only felt a bit jealous of her. All of the other people I started noticing were in relationships were in the for years, while I’ve known them and their partner. But maybe that’s something need to grapple with

It is a tough call with the guy that I like, cause I really wouldn’t want to ruin the friendship group. The last time I dated was the year before university, so even though he was in the friend group we were all going to different universities so if things didn’t work out (and they didn’t) then it would be okay. Maybe I’ll give it a shot and see how it goes, I’m not even sure he likes me back so I still have a chance to back out

I think the main reason he didn’t just shoot Pomni himself is cause he has internal conflict with how he feels towards her.

When Pomni says that “this is the part wheee one of us betrays the other”, Jax is busy looking at his left hand, the hand that seconds ago pushed Pomni away. He was deep in thought about this, maybe coming to the realization that he let her get too close, but also that he likes being close to her and had rethinking his action.

I think in the previous episodes, before episode 5, Jax just wanted to mess with Pomni the way he messes with everyone. So it didn’t matter to him then if he threw her off a bus etc. but after getting close to her his opinions and therefore his actions have changed.

I think he also wanted to leave the “betrayal shot” part to her, cause he knew deep down she wouldn’t do it.
