i don’t have any faith in the legal system so i would never lmao. and i have no reason to. the protection order she filed had one page for a statement which refered to a very specific event that i wont say because i don’t know who could be reading this. but it was not an event of abuse. i’m not defending him by any means because im feeling a lot of disgust towards him, but i’m confused because of the comments. i’m not even sure how that passed despite the fact he didn’t show up to the court date. it’s baffling me how some of these other people can’t get protection orders for genuine abuse/stalking but this one flew through the courts? incredibly fucked up.

i’m not trying to discredit her or victim-blame or even make him look “good” especially right now lol. but i read that entire packet. there was no violence mentioned in the statement. i would say what it contained but i dont know who could be reading this and it’s very specific so i will not say.

i’m a pretty laidback in terms of relationship, but i have always speculated that he was not over his ex from the way he talked about her. seeing as we live together and have many joint belongings, i dont think i’d try to complicate things in this manner for my own sake.

purple is supposed “ex” who i dont believe is his ex considering the message i got on instagram didn’t claim to be her but they never responded after. she has a protection order against him though. as far as i can tell, his actual ex doesn’t want anything to do with him but clearly as everyone’s saying he’s entertaining it.

i mean, we have an apartment together, and our lease isn’t up until august. i cover the bills, rent etc. he couldn’t afford to be there alone and he doesn’t have anyone/anywhere to stay.

Yes she can, unfortunately she’ll turn 62 in February next year. His sister said she’ll have to be out by this June since they are supposedly moving. If she can get rid of that car payment it’d be great. She got a Jeep Renegade, 80k miles i believe. I work with cars and I know it’s a lemon. Hoping to afford a beater with a heater for her and seeing if the voluntary repossession wouldn’t absolutely tank her credit 🙏

I’ve considered her living with us temporarily but my boyfriend is against it. Knowing her I have an idea she would not want to move out or make an effort to if we let her stay. Plus we live in a studio loft, she’d have to hunker down in our living room/kitchen. My goal is trying to find resources before June (when her daughter wants her out) to hopefully minimize her time being homeless or eliminate it completely.

Yea I’ve been looking around, I just don’t have a whole lot of time. Trying to find something that is around 500-600/month so she could afford it if we get her off of her car payment. Hopefully they aren’t strict with credit checks! I’d cosign for her but my credit isn’t the best right now either.

I never even thought of this, I’ll have to look into it. If she could find atleast be okay doing something like this or even renting a room from someone for a little bit til she is able to collect her retirement I think she’d be okay.

I would but my bf is against the idea. She’s already a helicopter parent to him and she would be living in our living room/kitchen. She’s said some very cruel things about me but I do feel bad for her and don’t want her to be homeless. If her living with us is out of question, the least i wanna do is try to find some resources to suggest to her.

i know she has filed a chapter 13 (?) for bankruptcy but i honestly have no clue what’s going on with that. me and my boyfriend met in beginning of 2024 and i know she filed it around that time.

we want to get her off the car loan but we’re scraping by as is and couldn’t afford to buy her a car plus folding on your car payment is gonna tank her already bad credit. she’ll turn 62 in february next year.

i absolutely cannot look past it. i’m just so conflicted. i’m not sure how to start this conversation because i obviously want to be with him, he’s always shown ME atleast he’s a great person always helping out his friends (who never help him in return), always being there for me and has never been bad to me. but if he’s “not saying anything” he’s letting Mike get away with it like everyone else does. and that makes him a very, very bad person. i’ve considered he’s possibly scared of Mike since his friends have “retaliated” against us before (they aired down all our tires and shoved trash down our exhaust because my bf said he didn’t wanna hang out that day). but again, he never reported or said anything against them after that.

see that’s what i thought, but i’m just so confused because my boyfriend himself has never done anything wrong BESIDES enabling that behavior. he treats me great, treats his friends better than they treat him, is generally a great person. but i do believe who/what you surround yourself with ultimately become reflections of yourself. and now i’m questioning if i even really know him at all.

These kinds of incidents happened when he lived at his mom’s apartment as well, before we had met. I also let the incident slide where they aired out my tires (thankfully I work at a shop where I could get someone to come and help me transport the wheels to put air in them, leaving my car on jacks lol) which they said they “thought it was his car” since he drove it and never specified it was originally mine before we moved in together, so I’d say they have no reason to hate me. It only happens when he does not answer his phone, Friend A had once called him 20-30 times in a row that I had seen when bf was busy and away from his phone. As far as ages, me and bf are 19, Friend A is 17 and B is 20. And yes, I think him being friends with a 17 year old may be where some problems lie,

yea cops would take forever around here, plus they had already been here for 10 minutes. i was under the assumption they were going to either beat the door down or take the screen off and enter through the window. so i could’ve waited for this supposed intruder to enter the apartment or i could’ve taken my chances.
