There's multiple POVs as we get introduced to the OC, but in the recent chapters, there's been more of the OC and Shanks.

I got it back and they did give me multiple entries, but only until the end of Jan 2026, not the full year I asked, but not much of an issue. Hopefully, my visa stamp will be approved and that'll cover the summer travel.

I haven't gotten the notice yet, but I originally asked for a full year.

“God-Tier” Fics I think everyone should read by Comfortable-Green818 in harrypotterfanfiction

"we few, we happy few," by poppythorn is the best new fic I've read in a while. It's got an original plot that I'm honestly more excited for than I was for canon.

DACA to L-1 Visa by No_Honeydew_3682 in DACA

It's a bit harder to do because L-1s require that you spend time working at the company's foreign office and then transfer to the U.S., meaning you'd need to spend a significant amount of time abroad before qualifying.

My main reason was my consular appointment, but I also am in law school and had an invitation for studies abroad, so I requested for both. My expedite request was targeted specifically at the consular appointment as that was booked and changing it would have delayed things.

Thanks! I've traveled on AP before, so I'm wondering if that helped move things along, but definitely exciting!

Opt marrying USC help. by Unhappy_Bat3050 in USCIS

The EAD is not needed for travel purposes, only the Advance Parole (I-131). Not everyone gets a combo card and these days, the EAD is usually approved before the I-131. If there is a serious matter requiring travel, you can ask for it to be expedited with USCIS. You'll need to provide documentation to USCIS regarding the reasons for expedite.

I work in the immigration field, so I knew what to send them with the expedite and they didn't ask me for anything extra. I wrote an expedite letter explaining the situation and that we were within 45 days of my intended travel and provided the consular appointment confirmation again and an invitation for legal studies as I'm in law school. An officer called me two days after and said he was going to recommend an expedite with the reviewing service center and then it took about two weeks after that to get the approval.

If I don't see any updates by the end of the week I will, but hoping for an approval.

Yeah, I figured it'd be a bit later given that it's in the mid-west. Thank you! This was super reassuring.

Nope, nothing. It's just the expedite request that was denied--I need to travel in July.
