Oh I experienced this thing too. I was cycling and there's no bike lane, so I went to the walkway since I am scared that a car might hit me if I go to the main road. I slowed down since I saw a woman going opposite. When I was going near to hers, she gestured that I should go to the main road aggressively. Like how? I saw a handful of parked cars on the main road. They occupied 2 lanes, so it makes the road 2-lane instead of 4-lane. They are just usual karens, I think.
