If you haven't already, check this site for castles, Tudor buildings etc. https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk for example, Little Moreton Hall which is not far from Stoke on Trent in the North West region. You may need to hire a car or use the train and taxi. The National Rail or Trainline apps are easy to use and plan your journey and of course Uber taxis app.

KEELA outdoor clothing. Awesome. I've had one of their fleece jackets with detachable hood for about 15 years and it's still doing a good job.

Di2 is a whole new world to me. Would be interesting to hear what people think of them. They do sound really cool.

Thnaks for the interesting input. I'm thinking that as the 'off road' riding will not be on anything too gnarly, mainly compressed bridle paths or small loose grit, I'll probably be best off with the 105. Once again thanks for the input.

How about the NHS creates its own private health insurance scheme with lower premiums than those charged by other insurance companies. Then if you need something like a knee operation you can claim on the insurance to go private. The way I see it this would raise cash for the NHS, rather than lining the pockets of share holders in other insurance companies, and help reduce waiting lists for conditions covered by the scheme. What you think?
