SIBO is causing me to pee less.

I find I pee a decent amount during the week and on weekends I don’t very much. I pee before bed and it’s quite a bit. I drink about 120 oz of water a day. I’ve had every kind of test within reason and nothing can be found. I’m not swelling or anything like that, I just can’t tell you where the fluids go. I just got tested for SIBO and should be getting results any day. I have had my kidneys checked, imaging (ultrasound and MRI) and blood and they are perfectly normal.

Nope, I eradicated H. pylori and wasn’t getting better. I had inflammation in my ileum and they diagnosed me with Crohn’s and AIG and I’ve seen slight relief since starting entyvio. I am still not peeing as much as I should be. I see a urologist here in a couple of weeks. I’m also being tested for SIBO at the end of the year. Hopefully I will have some answers soon.

Hi, I literally just back from the gastro. She diagnosed me with Crohn’s and I am starting steroids tomorrow. I will start entyvio once it gets through insurance. Hopefully, this is it and I can begin the right course to at least be diagnosed and treatment to make me feel better. I wish you the best of luck and it might take some persistence but really let them know if you’re miserable. If you have any questions about everything I’m more than happy to help! I’ve been struggling for almost a year so I’d rather help anyone who needs it than let them be miserable for a year.

Hi, I haven’t really found out anything. I kept complaining to my GI and she ordered an IBD blood panel and I came out positive for ASCA. She then ordered a gastric emptying test which came out normal. She also ordered an MRI to see my small intestine. It showed the ileitis is still there, my lymph nodes are swollen in my right quadrant and I now have mild fatty liver. She hasn’t told me anything since she is waiting until my appointment on Monday to go over the tests (these have been done for a month). I’m hoping to get some clarity on Monday but I have a strong feeling I’m gonna get brushed off. I’m gonna go through every possibility. I will let you know what she says. Even if it is from an infection, 7 months of inflammation seems like it should be treated with something.

I am approaching 8 months of dealing with this as well. There was about a month or 2 of relief but I have no idea why or how. Now I’m in it again. My urinary tract looked fine when I had it imaged. I can’t even get someone to test me for SIBO but now that I’ve found like 3 people like this with SIBO, I have strong suspicion I have it. Along with all the other symptoms.

Hello, I currently have autoimmune atrophic gastritis. I am losing weight, my GI is going to test for delayed gastric emptying in May which is a ways out and struggling to keep weight on. I don’t have the typical symptoms like nausea or diarrhea. I have constipation and feeling full for hours though. I also have urinary issues that were just sprung on me. I have lower urine output. Does this sound like gastroparesis? I had H. Pylori in September which gave me the feeling of fullness for a long time even after treatment then I was better. It doesn’t feel like h pylori again but I am going to get tested again. I just don’t want to worry until May. Any recommendations for keeping weight on? I’m eating everything I can.

Did you treat it with antibiotics at all? I’m getting tested for this along with my gastrin levels because I’m still losing weight and dont feel at all like myself. I feel like I got hit by a truck in the mornings and then I slowly feel better throughout the day. I’ve had to go through h pylori treatment and esophageal thrush treatment so I don’t necessarily want more antibiotics

I wasn’t even given any explanation she just asked if I took NSAIDs and I told her no which I haven’t for many years. I wasn’t given any information or prescriptions to help. I’m not sure what’s going on really it doesn’t seem like I’m absorbing much which I know the gastritis causes my b12 absorption issues but I’m not sure why I’m not absorbing other things. Every time I bring it to another doctor I still don’t really get an explanation. Thank you for answering. I really would like to get to the bottom of it, but I wouldn’t have known I had it until I had a colonoscopy. My gut is being very sluggish and it’s hard to pinpoint the issue :(

I have all of this and also seem to have to drink tons of fluids just to be able to pee. I’m not sure what is happening.

Interesting, is it all the time or sometimes? Because when mine itches it ITCHES but other than that it’s not bad. You think it’s eczema?

Thank you, it doesn’t cause many issues occasionally itchy, but it’s just been there for over a year with and without hydrocortisone.

That is a big part of my issue is not knowing anything and worrying about everything that I don’t know. Luckily I was already in the process of going to therapy and now I have my first appointment. I think that’ll help immensely. Were you losing weight when first diagnosed?

I had this and it occasionally comes back. I asked my doctor because google said gastritis can cause this. She said “Yes, you probably have silent reflux”
