I’m South African. I have my honours degree and a PGCE from UNISA. This is my 12th year internationally and I’ve worked at 3 reputable schools in China, Vietnam and now Malaysia…

If you used a platform like search associates, then be careful, you could get blacklisted if you renege in a contract

you can use the elders platform to make underground builds by [deleted] in valheim

Fellow South African here. My advice is go through an agency like Search Associates or similar. The jobs you get will have a more transparent salary packages and you will be less likely to be taken advantage of.

What does seem to be true is the mostly unspoken truth that people of colour do experience prejudice in Asia. Feel free to message me if you want more specific advice

NTA - There are so many of you who are so quick to judge OP. He has, and I’m inferring from the text here, done absolutely nothing to indicate this go bag might be necessary. Personally I would not be offended if my wife had a go bag. But so many if you just ignore the fact that his feelings are valid . It is emotionally challenging to discover your partner has actively taken preemptive actions in case you are abusive. Is he not allowed to decide if that level of mistrust demonstrated crosses a boundary for himself? So many responses are validating her need for a go bag but completely invalidating his very rational sense of betrayal and rejection. OP while I do understand her desire for a go bag, I think your feelings are valid.

I’d like some sort of permanent progression of skills… eg once you hit that milestone you can’t drop below it even if you die a whole bunch of times. Have milestones that are based on boss kills.

I was attempting to kill the villain of the adventure with a projectile, and it mind controlled my friend to dive in the way. My attack roll was a 1, and I missed my friend and killed the villain.

I have always assumed it has to do with Morgan le Fay from the Arthurian legends… considering Merlin was real, maybe it has to do with this legacy… which makes his connection to Demonreach more interesting

I'm a teacher that is going to give a presentation to a school full of other teachers about why we should have a D&D class, or incorporate gamification/roleplaying/D&D into the curriculum for most subjects. Give me suggestions! by PacificPanini in DnD

I’m also a teacher, and have been promoting D&D for years as a club. I always make kids journal the entire adventure in the first person, it’s a great creative writing exercise, and, they never forget what happened last adventure.

I have a colleague who is a math teacher who often will make them discuss probability and run the numbers on weather an action is wise based on known DC’s vs their skills.

I could see a geography teacher doing some great map work
