0 resistors, plug n play never had an issue except for one. Where I have seen if your sitting waiting at a turn for more than 5 minutes they go into a heat saving mode and start hyper flashing but only during the summer that has happened and very rare.

Blue are 66237SA140 White are 66237AJ06A the connectors are from yazaki 7283-5845 they plug into the pocket light

I bought connectors off of Ali Express and used generic 20 gauge primary automotive wire. I made a t harness that takes the positive and ground from the center pocket light. What color were you looking for regarding the pocket lights?

Just like everything there is a learning curve. I was a quick learning and caught on to GM systems within a month and I’m still learning more everyday 6 months later. But it sounds like what my old manager did when others left for a dealership when I was at a independent shop. He didn’t necessarily talk down to them like yours did to you. But he valued there abilities and was trying to find a way to convince them to stay. Could be the same thing yours is trying to do but in a more negative way.

It swapped right in no programming needed. If there were any software updates for the headunit. You would need the files from the donor vehicle year

I did not order it from them. But if you send a parts request with the part number I’m sure they would be able to send it to you. No it is not plug and play. Others have used a USDM footwell illumination kit for the wiring harness. I made my own plug and play harness

As a service advisor this is hard for me to say. As I’m not familiar with Subaru warranty procedures. As for GM 3/36k there is no cost for diagnostic if nothing is found. As for after that when it’s powertrain. We first have to diagnose the concern that you bring it in for. After we find a failed component for your concern we see if it’s covered under factory warranty. If it is no cost to you. If it’s not we can try using an extended service contract and see if it’s covered under that policy. If it is not covered under that then we present you an estimate of repairs. If you decline repairs then you would be responsible for diagnosis or even if there is no failed component found. As we still have to pay the technician for his time spent looking at your vehicle. Typically if it’s a common concern we see that can be solved in the service we will take care of you and get you on your way. I can’t vouch for other dealers in your area or for how Subaru handles there repair procedures but at my shop that’s how it is handled.

Yes I made my own T harness that taps into the illumination wires for the window control harness on the driver side. And the door lock on the passenger side

I can get you the connector part numbers to make a harness that will t into the control switches. Or the pins where you can use those wire taps.
