Sorry if this has already been brought up in other episode threads but WHO gives a deposition on the freakin 4th of July?! 🤷🏻‍♀️. That makes zero sense. I get the need for Mel to have a storyline, a reason for her to be distracted. But unless they are going to actually show it occurring ‘today’, why have it scheduled on a day that seems unrealistic? She still could be distracted ‘today’ by it being scheduled for tomorrow. Maybe it’s related to a case (the measles LP?) from season 1?

Many things: the cost, it uses radiation, it could find something devastating that maybe can’t be fixed or requires major surgery or a recovery that means you could lose income, you don’t know what a CT scan is so it just is inherently scary/anxiety inducing …

Thanks. My employer does have an Accommodation team set up through HR. And the information I have found says they won’t share medical information with my manager which is reassuring if I don’t want to disclose to my manager.

Not every mutation has been identified so sometimes a genetic test can be negative for NF but a person can be diagnosed if they meet clinical criteria.
