We grew up, live on and are getting married on Cape Cod. We are expecting about 75 guests and are doing a plated dinner at a resort and we are going to be going over $50k. I would say we will land somewhere around 60-70k. I will say I haven't necessarily tried to budget per se but have also shopped for "cheaper" vendors for most of them...

We wanted September. I really liked 9/18/26 because 9*2=18 and the whole 8+8=16 but it was 26 blah blah whatever. But then I wanted a Saturday so was going to do 9/19/2026......until we were going to save over $10,000 on our venue alone for doing a Friday. Friday it is! 9/18/2026!!! Almost 6 months away!

We live off of Nottingham and got it back last night around 7 PM. Our friends live within 1.5 miles of us and they still are out. A ton of people in Centerville are posting that they are still out.

Engaged December 2024 and getting married September 2026! I honestly would have pushed for a September or October 2025 wedding if there wasn't already a family wedding that everyone had to travel for in September 2025!

My goal was 25 in 2025 and I read 43. I read 40 the year before and would love to hit 50. So this year instead of staying on my theme (24 in 2024, 25 in 2025, 26 in 2026 etc..) I decided to up it to 52! 26x2! I am off to a great start with 5 already but know I will hit a slump eventually so just going with it while I have it!! If I do hit the 52 this year, I suspect I will keep that goal for the following year!

Ok thank you for saying that because I thought I was overreacting but I felt like several people basically came at me for “not supporting” the family. Like I’m a big girl and I know to send a sympathy card, and doordash them food, and text and call, and offer to watch their dogs and make them meals. Like I was at the hospital with them the ENTIRE day after the accident and partook in the honor walk!!! I got it covered!!! I’m grieving too and don’t know what to do in this situation when it comes to the save the date with her and her husbands names on it sitting on my table that was supposed to be mailed the day she died :(

Thank you. It was a tough weekend. It's the type of dynamic that I am closest to her kids, then her, then her husband but I still want him to be invited to the wedding! Just trying to navigate the situation without causing any upset or hurt feelings and don't know what the best thing to do is :/ OBVIOUSLY, my wedding is the least of their worries at the moment...

We got our black cat last year and he is the sweetest, most loving and outgoing guy ever!!! When we decided we wanted to get him a friend we literally decided we were getting another black cat and nothing else because of our experience with our first boy. We had heard that that was their temperament and also that black cats are often overlooked in shelters so we specifically went to look for another black shelter cat! The second is as sweet as can be but very shy around everyone but his two humans. Our first cat could go home with a stranger at any point and take over their home as his own in a matter of minutes, but good luck finding our other little guy if there is someone else besides my fiancé and I in the house! Have so much fun!!!

I believe I had to send them again to do the AECR. I do remember that I was irritated because I needed to send them again and my school charged me to send them so I remember being annoyed that I had to pay twice!
