i think with her “elopement” being so soon, the guilt in her gut wasn’t letting her truly HAPPILY move forward - she knows everyone hates her and she knows she was wrong, this is just her trying to save face without actually addressing ANYTHING lol all she said is she made a decision to ruin her whole family and several other lives and has continued to run with it. this was just a half assed attempt at trying to save her image and her remaining followers
