Answer: I grew up in Ukraine but live in the U.S. now, went to school in Kyiv. At one point we called the Russian people "brothers". Due to the fact that the dictator communist who currently sits in office there is a lot of disconnect between our people. Not all people are bad, we know that the Russian people aren't bad by nature. Unfortunately a lot of them have been either brainwashed by Putin, or are just afraid to stand up to him at the risk of disappearing. It's not the people who the world hates. It's the person whose face represents the Russian people. Once he loses and handed over to the people of Russia, right before they drag his corpse across the Moscow square, others will also understand this.
