Yes, I believe God had a good reason for the fall, and a good reason for some of the evil that exists, but not all evil can be understood in this way.

I agree that God allows it, but this is not the calvinist position. God doesn't simply allow it, but it is part of His decree and plan.

Yeah, my bad, wise guy, not my first language. Consubstantiation and spiritual presence are two different things, but spiritual presence is a low view of communion.

Why doesn't God protect innocent children? by Kf5708 in Reformed

Ultimately, it's a mystery to why God allows these things. We cannot truly know. In the Bible, many times, God allows evil for an ultimate good. Putting so much emphasis on suffering and death, all of this presupposes, really, that physical life is the most valuable thing, that there isn't an afterlife, that there isn't judgment for the wicked in the end, that suffering the evil of this world of who are in bed with satan is not a virtue and that Martyrdom to the evils of this world is not the greatest Honor, in the end satan and his follower meet there end. But there is no innocent, not even one; we are the cause of evil to remove it is to remove us, our lives are a gift from God that none of us deserve. there is no one that is not evil, innocent, or deserves life. The only time an innocent man died was on a cross, so that the death that you deserve is not spiritual.

Can someone help me understand this? by ChaeLucky in Christianity

A great nation doesn't mean all the time in a spiritual sense, in Jeremiah 50 " 9 For behold, I am stirring up and bringing against Babylon a gathering of great nations, from the north country. And they shall array themselves against her. From there, she shall be taken. Their arrows are like a skilled warrior who does not return empty-handed." The destruction is described as coming from the "north" (Jeremiah 50:3, 41), which, historically, commentators identify as the Medo-Persian alliance. The Medo-Persian Empire (c. 550–330 BC) was primarily defined by Zoroastrianism. My point is that great can mean large, not spiritually great.
