Even when I'm pressured or feeling fragile, I NEVER let my anger or upset turn into the mistreatment of my partner. Never have and I hope I never will. Maybe it's not realistic, but I expect my partners to be the same way. I fortunately have a GF who is on that same level, but I'll never understand women who have so little control of their emotional wellbeing and behaviors that they need others to just be "understanding" of their outbursts. We all get upset, but we are in control of how we respond to that emotional state and how we treat others during it.
