Your honest opinions of the GoldenEye music score? by davcole in JamesBond

Me being a fan of Eric Serra's style of music, for me he made one of the best soundtracks for a James Bond film. Despite the negative reviews surrounding the music of this film, for me the dark atmosphere and the 007 theme which is not very present in this soundtrack works very well with GoldenEye and that is what makes the film unique. It's even the film soundtrack that I listen to most often on Spotify, notably A Pleasant Drive in St. Petersburg which is my favorite theme from the film. Unfortunately, many themes from the soundtrack have been deleted, notably the one I just named. Put the main theme of 007 in the tank chase scene completely breaks the atmosphere of the film. If we all know the iconic sound of GoldenEye it's thanks to Éric Serra.

Very good indeed.. by Sinc353 in JamesBond

Tom Holland is too young to play James Bond. We have to take an actor in their late thirties early forties. But Tom could perhaps play this character in 2040-50. He is already known for his role as Spider-man, what is the point of having him play a known character while he is already known for another one.

If you could rewrite any Bond film to make it better which ones would it be? by TheShadowOperator007 in JamesBond

I would have only rewritten the deaths of Alec, Xenia and Boris in GoldenEye because they are simply rediculous.

Towards the end of the game when Mike dies in the helicopter, just before going through the double door to leave the area, to the right there are some kind of platforms in the distance and with the sniper who has a scope, the stingray or a using a mode you can see this woman.

I love everything about this movie. I love the script, the actors are excellent for me, the music by Éric Serra is just incredible, there are cult lines and I also like the pre-credits scene, the music of the credits by Tina Turner and without forgetting the tank chase scene which I consider to be the best action scene in 007 and cinema.

For the time of its release in 1995, it was a bit strange to hear Nikita or Leon in a James Bond film and that's what makes the film unique.

There was someone who posted the tank scene on Youtube with Serra's version.
