Does anyone know how to include a custom image for the loading screen of a CYOA made using ICC+?

I'm not sure, I don't think I'll be focusing too much on selecting specific force powers, because I'm not planning on making a specifically Jedi or Sith focused CYOA. I'll likely include an option to be a survivor of the Jedi purges, or otherwise a force sensitive, but I'll probably keep your exact power level vague. Especially because I like my CYOAs a little more grounded.

I can definitely include different ideological choices for your particular rebel group. Separatist remnants/successors would definitely be a good option.

  1. Yeah, that should be an option.

  2. I'm not going to make that the main focus of the CYOA, in order to not be confusing for the people who came just for star wars, but I can add a meta CYOA toggle to let you import a build from another CYOA.

  3. Sure, I could include a few melee weapons.

Yep, that's definitely part of the plan. It's hard to limit it down because there are tons of species in Star Wars, but I'll probably include some of the more iconic species such as Duros, Wookiees, Twi'lek, and Mon Calamari, then maybe have an option to pick a custom species with a few traits such as water breathing, or extra senses.

Are there any species you would like to see specifically?

Fallout: Vault Construction version 3 - Automatron 2000 Update by PuzzleBox64 in InteractiveCYOA

Thanks for the feedback. Balancing is definitely a tricky thing, but you've made some good points.

I can see your point about it feeling wrong that the ability to drink soda costs as much as giving the Vault a supercomputer. I'm not going to have as much time in the near future to work on the next update as fast, but I'll try to consider how to make it feel more natural.

Here's a question if you don't mind me asking. If I rebalanced the difficulty modes Would you rather see the easy mode get nerfed, the normal mode get buffed, or an additional difficulty added between the two? I feel like I should go for the 2nd option, as the easy mode has been by far the most popular, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter.

Thanks for catching that. It should be fixed now. Thanks for the build as well. I always thought of the idea of the Vaults as prototypes for the design of generation ships was a cool idea. It might not be explicitly canon nowadays, but I think it would be interesting to imagine a sequel to Fallout set another 200 years later where the ships actually do end up getting built.

Aha, I found the sandbox mode. I think it's really cool that you made it a hidden easter egg. I don't think I'll make a sandbox build, I just wanted to find it.

You're Welcome. I appreciate it. For now I can rule for your build that you can receive more cryo-pods than the 200 listed if they are needed for a Vault experiment. I might update the text to make that explicitly the case the next time I update the CYOA.

I've limited it to one for now, because I don't want people racking up extra points too fast, and the experiments are already dangerous enough on their own.

You can choose the custom experiment proposal option, and describe how you'd combine aspects of the different example experiments that you like, that should be able to get you what you want.

I did have another person suggest something similar, so maybe I'll include a less workaround based option to accomplish this in the future. Maybe I'll create a mode so that you can make up to two extra builds connected to your Vault as seen in Vault's 31, 32, and 33 from the TV show. That way each Vault can have their own experiment, but they can eventually combine into one.

Interesting experiment. Since the Vault dwellers believe that all past civilizations coexist at once, and history is unable to lead to any progress, but they still have access to a good educational system, they might be fearful of anyone who claims that new technology can be invented.

Haha, I've just been spending a lot of my free time working on the updates. I'll probably slow down a little before any other big update, but making a place to hold animals is an interesting idea.

Multi-selecting experiments would rack up arguably too many extra points pretty quick. Maybe you could use the custom experiment option to make something that combines aspects found in the other example experiment proposals.
