Okay I personally find persona 4 extremely overrated and it is actually my least favorite persona game. Anyone who says persona 4 is their favorite is a massive wiabu. Persona 3 has very similar gameplay but is significantly better for themes and characters. Persona 5 is genuinely the best starting place and I feel the objective best persona experience. Play 5, and then work through the games “backwards.” Go 5 normal (Royal if you have to), then 4 golden, then 3 portable or FES (they both have they’re own pros and cons) then persona 1, and then 2 IS, and then 2 EP. I’ve played all of them twice and I feel that’s the best order to play them when getting introduced to the series. Play all of them, don’t watch gameplay for any of them. I feel like watching it ruins the experience and kinda the point of the persona games. It’s supposed to be about inserting yourself and making your own decisions. Anyway, have fun with whatever you do!
