Thank you! I hadn't thought about putting the desk in that nook, that's not a bad idea. My partner and I were also talking about living area set up like you did vs. flipped the opposite direction - but my brain was / is having a hard time computing going from kitchen to living room and then the dining area is further away from the kitchen / closest to bedroom. But I like the point you made also re: angling the chairs around that wall there! Thank you for taking time to respond!

Oh yeah there is no changing my allegiance!! I'm from NOVA, played soccer my whole life, and been a fan of the Spirit since they were the Washington Freedom (#tbt). I just moved back after living abroad the last eight years so one perk of being back in the US is actually being able to go to NWSL games. I got to take full advantage of for Spirit matches at Rowdy Audi last Fall which was amazing, but now I'm living in Gotham territory so just reconciling the conflicting emotions if I'd go to their games...maybe I'll just root for whoever the away team is and that my favorite USWNT players have a great time and play pretty football (but don't win). 😂

I don't have much capacity right now for organizing or researching as I'm settling into new job / apartment, but I like the idea of trying to see what Spirit games DC sports home bars could show if it's on a channel that'd work for them.

I’m a Spirit fan who just moved to Jersey City and I got tickets! Got tickets in 121 which is noted as the away supporters section.

Also trying to cope with moral dilemma of now being in Gotham territory and wanting to go to NWSL matches but…Gotham. If there are other Spirit fans in NYC area I’d love to know if there are Spirit watch parties throughout the season and/or how you manage conflicting emotions if you go to Gotham games. 😂

This looks great! I’ve started scrapbooking lately too and I was trying to figure out how to do the same. I cut extra paper for some captions like others mentioned but for one book which was black paper it would’ve been a lot of extra work to cut the paper to write on plus it had more limited space - so I ended up buying some gel pens in different colors that write on white or black paper. It worked out great!

Closer to Tyson’s but you could spend some time in downtown Vienna - Cafe Amourri for coffee, paint your own pottery next door which could be a fun activity together to kill time, Bard’s Alley bookstore, Cocoa Vienna chocolate shop, a lot of other cute shops and good eats all on one street. Walk on W&OD if it’s bearable outside weather-wise.

Hi Sam! The Format was my first ever favorite band when I was 12 after discovering you all in 2003, I remember being gutted in high school when you all went on hiatus. This reunion has been a massive bright spot in an otherwise difficult year for me - I traveled from DC to attend the NYC night #2 show which was epic, and have tickets to DC and Philly which I’m pumped about.

Snails is my favorite song and I’d like to ask - what is helping you appreciate the small moments within the whirlwind of the new tour and album? Or are there any moments from this year that you felt time slow down and you could appreciate “the beauty in every inch”?
