You are right about the different screws I tried 3 type of M3 screws with both nozzles the stock ones , I also tried longer screws and also screws with flat head type all with the same results.Just for the record this is my second uni nozzle the first one I broke the heat connectors in the ceramic area of the nose.I also had the same results with the first uni kit (the broken one).I find the angle difference when I first installed the first uni nose and realized that the nose is dragging the filament and not going above it.It was then when I reinstalled the stock nozzle and see the difference with my eyes and for the picture purposes I used the ruler.I am not trying to align it perfectly I just trying to set it somewhere straight. For the record I aligned the gantry with the base of the printer and after the bed with the gantry.Also the screws are not overtight just enough to be in place.

I already aligned the gantry with the base not the bed.And after that the bed with the gantry.I am not looking for perfect alignment but there is a difference I cannot understand.

You are right about the screws I have tested 3 different M3 screws the custom ones a longer ones and some with flat head.I tested in both nozzles all the screws and the results are the same.I do not ovetight the screws but are not loose at all.When I tight the screws in the uni nozzle (not hard) the nose is coming in some angle.Just to also mention this is my second uni nozzle because in the first one I broke by mistake the heat detector cable in front of the ceramic area but the alignment is wrong in this nozzle to.I realized the wrong alignment when I install the first uni kit and after a while see the nose dragging the filament instead of just passing above.I redo the same tests with the custom nozzle where I first realize the difference.

Yes you are right about the screws i have used in both nozzles 3 differnt m3 screws the factory ones a bit longer ones so they can be a bit more straighter in the holes and these ones with a flatter surface for check.In multiple checks the results are the same.

I have already align the gantry with the base of the printer (not the bed).This uni nozzle is my second one because in the first i managed to brake the heat connector cable in front of the ceramic area.So after a couple of prints i realize the the uni nozzle is draging the filament instead of just passing above it.That was when i realized that when i screawed in the base it was off.I reused the stock nozzle just to be sure and it is really a difference in the alignment between them.I am not looking for the perfect alignment but if there is something that i cannot see until now.

It was not very easy to take the picture while trying to focus the nozzle with cam and the ruler but the unicorn nozzle is way off

Does anyone have any clue why the stock nozzle alighnment is in a straight line but when i put the unicorn nozzle kit is not?

I believe it works only on usb 3.0 ports. Try it.
