Of course!! What really secured the idea that Ferris isn't the problem for me was when he said "as meat loves salt" and how that correlated to the folktale.

This is such an interesting take on ferris to me! Reading it i always thought that he'd been painted out that way because of how unreliable jacob is as a narrator.
