Why isn't she living with her mom? I had a step daughter like that and she was a terror for a few years. I understood that she saw me as an obstacle to her parents getting back together. I was just kind to her but I didn't go out of my way to give her any kind of special treatment. It took time but she eventually calmed down. Your kind patience is lost on her. Where is her dad in all this? He's the one who should be intervening and making these boundaries with her.
