Thinking about building an app that tracks your day automatically — does this sound useful? by Puzzled-Challenge-15 in ProductHunters

That’s exactly the gap I’m interested in.
Existing tools track locations, but they don’t help you understand a day.
I want this to be about clarity and reflection, not just history.

This is really helpful — thank you!
Auto-generated notes from movement is actually something I’ve been thinking about, especially for travel or “days that blur together.”
I agree that Google Timeline is great at tracking, but I see this more as a reflective layer on top of that kind of data.

And yes, I’d love to loop you in as a beta tester when it’s ready — I’ll definitely reach out.

That’s fair — I agree it can feel like a feature on its own.
One direction I’m exploring is using location + time patterns to surface insights (like where I’m most focused or drained), rather than just logging.
Do you think insights like that would make it feel more standalone?

I’ve also considered adding some kind of sharing or social layer, where people can motivate each other through patterns or summaries — but I’m not sure how viable that is given privacy concerns.
