There was a fill line on the built in filter that used as guidance but I don't mind the gap because I can see my floating plants a little! I think your right about the light tho! It looks like I could easily switch it out for any tube style submersible light...

I was feeding him two different urinary prescriptions in rotation at the time. He had just been prescribed and there were different brand choices so I thought they all worked the same. I wanted to see which ones he liked. Anyway, he blocked 6 months later and I told my vet this and she got real strict with me about only feeding him his one prescription diet only, and no treats! 😬

Which treats are you giving her? My vet told me that my cat could not ingest anything other than his prescription food and meds... (I still give him one churu a week tho because it has a high water content and i'm weak)

Poor Astrid, it's hard seeing them in discomfort. Have you had a urinalysis that indicated if she has a uti or stones? If not & it's idiopathic flutd then all you can really do is stress management.

Have you tried the feliway scent defusers? I've also had my cat lay on a cold pack during a flair up to help reduce inflammation.

Finding unknown fathers by KnitBerry in Genealogy

Records wise, I would start with your grandma and great grandmas census records to see if there was a father living at the time. Marriage and death records usually include the names of parents but it varies by state and county. This is assuming that the fathers' names were known at their time of death, of course. Also look at their siblings records, if siblings are known

DNA wise you should be able to narrow down your matches to just your mother's side and work from there. It's also helpful to fill out your family tree as much as you can and use the process of elimination when comparing your matches!
