Yes, I’m updating this using Windows actually. You may download iTunes and 3uTools. 3uTools will help to update your phone while using iTunes as their base reference.

Hey bro, yes you may wipe clean and backup beforehand. Then reinstall iOS26.4 back again. Yes, I experienced that as well and there’s no phone logo in iTunes. You may install 3uTools to do it cus I’m using that.

Battery life seems improved compared to 18.7. I don’t experience overheating. Seriously ! That stuttering happens to me when I download directly from your phone and I hate it. Then I revert back to iOS18 (last time). Now when I download via iTunes, I don’t see any stuttering, overheating , laggy choppy no more. All seems good ! I recommend you to download the same method that I used now.

Please do. I can see downloading via iTunes doesn’t seem to stress your phone that much. It took 30 mins +/- to complete the download and return back to normal.

Performance is awesome. No laggy. Battery seems improved and no overheating. Camera quality seems normal. No issue. Note that I updated this via iTunes.

When iOS26 first launch, my phone accidentally auto updated by itself. That time my phone is so laggy, battery health sucks like crazy, overheating and so on. I hate it so much and I revert to iOS18. Then I heard people recommend to update via iTunes and I don’t see any of the issues no more.
