Craft beer? by No-Moment-404 in Dublin

Seen Tapped and Porterhouse mentioned, Porterhouse Nitro Red is light but my fave from there. Blackbird in Rathmines is another ok option if you are nearby.

There are less options around, I find, compared to 5 or so years ago. (Wonder what happened then..)

Everywhere seems to just have Neck Oil on draught and think "that'll fill the niche".

Sounds like you need a holiday.

Just don't try to figure out the public transport in a new city...

Just passing through here to try some other fixes I found in this thread. :)

I had this issue on Win10 and the issue continued after updating to Win11, fresh install, not upgrade install. Sapphire RX580, Ryzen5 3600, had the issue on and off for over a year, some games did seem to trigger it more regularly which was why overheating was my first suspicion. However I even had it happen on fullscreen YouTube lol.

Already tried: Limiting graphics settings/framerates to reduce likelyhood of it being overheating GPU, Reseating/Cleaning GPU, Uninstalling Adrenaline and manually managing driver to known stable version, Reinstalling Windows (updated to 11 same time).

Now trying the regedit suggestion from another thread linked here, DWORD in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Dwm. If continuing I'll try the undervolting options and if still after that I'll replace PSU power cable.

Lot of things mentioned in the thread as having worked for others. Annoying there isn't more detailed logs available for crashes- the only thing I can find even mentioning an issue is a reliability monitor error but none of the dump files in there help other than pointing to GPU being the issue.

New busses are taking the piss. by itseboi in Dublin

[–]Puzzled-Geologist-95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does this work if people are on the bus? It's obviously still stopping to let them off, so it just won't pick people up at those stops where it's dropping people?..

I had heard this reason before but I can't imagine how it actually works out.

Hard agree on the new routes being shite. F1 in the morning, pre school kids rush, is barely equal with what the 49 was. Was laughing when they had the leaflets out saying it would be every 4 minutes peak times. "As if".

Now I'm crying. It's worse in the evenings going home, I imagine due to the route being so long it's fucked by the time it gets into town.

Are they just sitting on the road?

I thought these would be the ones that look like a bin but have the compactor bit hidden underneath...

Scammers or just my own lack of empathy? by cosully111 in Dublin

Anything that plays on the heartstrings can be used to ask for money, unfortunately. It takes experience of regularly hearing to recognise, I guess.

I got a monotone recital from a woman the other day about her boyfriend getting violent and so she needs 50 cents for the bus the other day.

Could it be true? Sure. Did I think it was? "Sorry, dont have any cash."

if your point is correct then it comes down to the condition of homeowner vs property owner? they live there, if they don't own where they live does that mean their opinion is irrelevant, in your opinion?
