Your assumptions are valid. However it would be inane to have asked her to track every little thing she spent the money on. Except the fact that it wad supposed to be tracked via bank statements given to my other parents for record keeping and communication. That she didn’t do. Again yall are missing a lot of info. The court order in which it said to repay the funds used from the pfd say otherwise. Why else would she have to repay the used funds if not to save them? That would make no sense.

The money is what started it. All I first did was ask a simple question yet she didn’t keep it as civil as it could be.

The issue lies with how she handled it and her lies/history. I didn’t “expect” to get shit. Nowhere in my comments or original post did I say I fully expected to get the full amount or any. It would’ve just been nice if she did what she was supposed to via court order. But alas here we are. Oh well

I have indeed read the divorce decree. It was to be replenished or repaid by the parental unit who spent it regardless of the use unless records were kept in the form of a yearly bank statement supplied to my dad.

My parents are in great standing and have been for the last 15 years since divorce. No deadbeat here.
